Quantum healing is healing the mind, body and spirit through time and space. Past lives, this life, and future lives are touched upon and affected.
I don’t claim to be an expert in Astrophysics or String Theory; so I had to look up the word “quantum” to be able to write this piece. I always thought that “quantum” meant having to do with time, like the 90’s show “Quantum Leap”. Well, it does, kind of…
It seems that there are a few interpretations… The classic scientific version, and the new-age mystical version.
Quantum: Quanta: (plural for quantum) are packets of this sub-atomic energy. Quanta are waves and particles, mass and non-mass, matter and non-matter. It is measurable and immeasurable, real and not real, visible and not visible... all at the same time – inherently dualistic. It is completely "opposite", physical and non-physical, in the same place, space and time, contrary to the current classical laws of physics. The quantum world creates the physical world.
The word quantum refers to the smallest amount of something that you can have. You can't break a quantum of something into smaller parts
Quantum theory is the theoretical basis of modern physics that explains the nature and behavior of matter and energy on the atomic and subatomic level. The nature and behavior of matter and energy at that level is sometimes referred to as quantum physics and quantum mechanics.
Quantum mechanics is the study of matter and its interactions with energy on the scale of atomic and subatomic particles.
Quantum mysticism is a set of metaphysical beliefs and associated practices that seek to relate consciousness, intelligence, spirituality, or mystical worldviews to the ideas of quantum mechanics and its interpretations. Quantum mysticism is criticized by non-believers with expert knowledge of quantum mechanics to be pseudoscience or quackery.
Deepak Chopra wrote the book “Quantum Healing” in 1989, 35 years ago, and was ridiculed. In 2012, Stuart Hameroff and Chopra proposed that the "quantum soul" could exist "apart from the body" and "in space-time geometry, outside the brain, distributed nonlocally". And the die -hard Quantum Mechanics theorists have a field day poking holes in this Mystical Guru layman “WooWoo” misuse of the word.
That’s fine. Live and let live.
I can see both sides of the argument. Am I appropriating a word that is used by scientists to mean “ the smallest amount of something that you can have” to describe Soul Level Healing? Yes. I am. It’s the 21st century, language changes. People change. Culture and science…change. And if folks guffaw and turn their nose up at a different use of an ancient word to mean something esoteric- oh well. I am open to discussion. I love to learn. But I am also a busy healer who is simply trying to market her services to the “New Age”. First to admit it…

The bottom line is this. “Quantum mechanics is the study of matter and its interactions with energy on the scale of atomic and subatomic particles. “
I interpret this to include the Spirit, the Soul, the Life-Force… if you will.
So if my clients and I are working on healing the interaction between the Spirit and the body -through time and space-. That sounds like Quantum Mechanics Healing to me.
I call it Quantum Healing, it’s snappier.
At the end of the day what I do isn’t new. It is as old as healing itself. We are designed to heal this way. We have evolved to heal this way. Science can laugh, but results speak for themselves.
